Is my puffer a Green Spotted Puffer?

As the thread is titled, I bought a puffer fish from a local shop, they dont know what kind of puffer it is though. I attached a picture of the little guy below, he's about 1-1.5 inches right now.31699055_2072834286334588_6516502571094376448_n.jpg
 
It is. Very nice looking of the puffers too. Hope it’s in some brackish water. They prefer brackish to low end full salt.
 
Looks like a little gsp to me. Do you know much about them?
 
They can tolerate freshwater when juveniles. Would make sure to add salt eventually.
 
Slowly raise the level. I believe it's .05 a week until in full salt to keep from killing your bacteria. I kept mine in full marine fowlr (fish with live rock) from like 3" up. They get to the size of a small nerf football and need high crunch diet. Snails, crustaceans, clams on the half shell, etc
 
Can start to add now but once they hit about 3in if I remember right they’ll need the increase in salinity.
