Is my rotkeil stunted?

Thanks so much for the feedback guys. That makes me happy that he looks good. I paid a lot for him, so I would have been pretty pissed if I had been given a stunted fish. I didn't realize what slow growers they are. Hopefully he'll get some size on him one of these days!
I agree, doesnt look stunted to me, Id be interested to hear why the others think so...Beautiful fish good work and good luck!
Your rot looks very similar to my breeding pair. They are both in the 5-6" range and haven't grown much in the near 2 years I've owned them. A couple of their offspring (about 1.5 years old) have now passed them in size.
The two main differences in appearance are the parents eyes are larger then the younger, bigger offspring. Also the face has a more pointed(football) look to it, this look is common for juvies but the two younger no longer carry this look.
I'll see if I can get pics of the father and one of his sons, it may be awhile as the pair are rearing fry right now.
It's not 10 months old, he has had it for 10 months in which it has not grown.
