Hello, I have a 240 gallon with a 96"x33" footprint. Home to a 26" silver arowana, 14" ornate, 8" Senegal, 7" JD, 5" JD, 6" pike, 5" blood parrot, 5" clown loach, and a 8" marbled goby.
I saw a 2' RTC on Craigslist. Do you think it would be okay in my tank . I feed my fish everyday sometimes twice. Any input would be greatly appreciated . Thanks

the 2' RTC would be ok in your tank for maybe a month
Really.....? Try a year or so. The rtc already passed its "growth spurt" stage. It will take a year or so to reach 3' if anything.

OP....
No.....

Think about it, a 2' rtc in with fish under 15". Do you think it would work?

I agree with our colleagues on the incompatibility for sure. RTC will eat them all, save maybe the aro.

I'd not house a 24" fish in a 33"-wide tank. IMO you'd need AT LEAST 48" width to house it "humanely" and an 8' length, again AT LEAST, which you do have. Many others would disagree, which is fine. In about a year, the RTC will reach 3', which means 12'x6' footprint.

If I were you I would rescue it. Even though your tank isn't big enough it's probably better than it's current tank. Then you could try and find it a better home.

youd be fine for year or too. all depends on the rtc, my kitty, been in a 45 till he got to 6 inches now hes in the 135 with an aro at 16" 5 bichirs from big to tiny. and the, kitty dont eared anything but pellets n krill inface feeders will tickle his wiskers n he wont even be bothered with. i power feed him and hes only grown to mabey 14 inches from 2 inches in like 4 months. basicly hes never attempt or even tried to eat his palls
