Is my tank a decent home for a RTC?

I think people over exaggerate the size of fish rtc can eat. I think it would eat everything in your tank but the arowana. I see them all the time in zoos with cichlids and aros which are all smaller and don't get eaten the the rtc's.

It is crucially dependent on the enclosure size and in a far smaller way on the amount of food - that's the cause of the apparent contradiction you point out IMO. but I am not talking extremes as we are trying to generalize here.
