Is my tank over crowded? / how bad is it?

I think the OP already understands that it's about to break, which is why he posted here asking for assistance.

As far as water changes, he/she has also already stated;
And I change half the water about twice a month

Even with massive weekly water changes, this mix of fish is obviously never going to work out long term, in a 75 gallon, or spit up between a 75 and a 60 gallon.

1) 10" midas cichlid
2) 5"+8" jack dempsys (they had fry on a few occasions last year)
3) 5" red devil
4) 4" green terror
5) 7" severum
6) 4' flower horn
7) 3" Hypsophrys nicaraguensis
8) 4" sengal bichir
9) 12" pleco
10) 6" pleco
11) 5" knife fish (has not grown at all over the past two year)
12) 5" green texas
13) 2" red texas???

Personally I would put the JD pair in the 60 gallon, and give your 10" midas the 75 to itself. There are other options, but eventually you are going to have to decide what you can realistically keep long term, and then sell off the rest.

Gotcha. And, I agree with you.
