Is Ohio Fish Rescue a fish store?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I hope they are higher priced than retail in order to dissuade people from getting a rescue fish because it's a 'deal' as that mentality might very well lead to the fish needing to be rescued again if someone is that valve conscious, to put it nicely, there is a good chance they are not willing to pay the continued upkeep for years if not decades since as we know that is where the real expense comes in. Of course there are exceptions.

seems like they are mostly flipping fish these days unless it something exceptional. ive been trying to convince my wife for years visiting them would be better than going to the shedd aquarium but its a pretty long drive

I’m in the Northwest Suburbs and we still go to the Shedd 1-2 times per year. When my son was younger they had “Asleep with the fishes” and you could spend the night at the aquarium. They featured animal encounters, activities like scavenger hunts, late-night aquarium exploration, and even a Caribbean Reef feeding dive before sleeping near exhibits like sharks or whales. It was only for minions up to 12, we had a lot of great nights, my back hated it but it was a great time.
