thanks, the best is watching the fish and falling asleep. main shoals are 6 goliaths, 7 vitatus, 11 tats, 3 scombs, 1 ralph, 10 ace barracudas and some other randoms

just dump loads of feeders in there, tank's always stocked.

back to tats... when i move these fish to the new tank, it'll be more open, hope the tats take to mid level waters and swim around more. Right now they fly low and in cover.

Madness your tank is awesome :headbang2
I have 1 tat, he also stays low and in the cover, I know you would never notice giving my 2 tats, but it would make my tank awesome!!! JP im sure you hear that all the time.

Man I wish I had your tank!!!!!:(

That tank is probably my new favorite on this forum. awesome

Wow, Crazy sweet stock list! Thanks for sharing!

:) thanks for the compliments... its fun sharing with like minded people. My friends who dont care for fish think i am out of my mind.

these fish + some other stock Im collecting at the moment will be transfered into a 4500gallon tank being built right now. Love ATFs and Payaras, they brought me back into this hobby full throttle after a 5 year break to a higher commitment level than before ... was a piranha only guy before.

If I can ever find some similar sized armatus... have seen some other keepers mix these with tats. Anyone here have experience or knowledge with this? It would take years but imagine eventually the armatus would get big enough to eat or atleast FUBAR the tats and most other fish under a foot for that matter.

I'm pretty lazy when it comes to photos, took my fancy camera out for this. :)

My tanks pretty long and they are spread around. Dont shoal in a tight group, rather 2-4 together at a time. Tank's heavily planted and lots of wood, I think in open water they'd keep a tighter formation.

First I put in 7 (now 5-6"), the second 5 (4-5") are slightly smaller so can tell them apart. The smaller ones stay in the corner of the tank together, the others group around a large plant in the middle of the tank, couple of the larger ones swim out in the open against the current with the goliaths. Very peaceful tank, no fish fight. There's few scombs and a rhalph mixed in there, rest are tats.

question for you guys, my largest scomb bumped his nose, it was raw, then turned white and now appears to have a growth on it. There's a photo of this. Should I be concerned? Been like this for few weeks now, he's the biggest and most active fish.

You my friend is my new hero.. Incredible looking tank...

That tank is sweet. Sooner or later those GATFs will be as big as that tank though.:)

What a badass collection! even your plants and aquascaping is sensational! The only way to top yourself, like you already said is to get an armatus in there- but its already very nicely stocked and setup
