Is petco going out of business????

Is petco going out of business? A couple of Petcos in my area are going out of business. First two of them shut down and sent all their inventory to one store. Now that one store is having a going out of business sale. Everything was 40% off. That store will be closed on Jan. 26. All all of them going out of business???

Maybe it's just in my area......... Most of their stuff is gone. They got a couple of good deals on tanks. Like they had a corner tank (don't remember what size, it was a nice size corner tank though) for $160 marked down from $389. I think I will go back they had complete wet dry systems at $50

We dont have petco here in hawaii, but I heard they were coming soon. Not sure how true that is though.

They've been closing the least productive stores in some areas. From what I hear they are going to do a bunch of research in these areas, and may open up new stores where they think they will do the best. My store just missed being closed.
