Is Polyester resin water proof if i make it thick?

i meant what type of wood you use cedar ply you would have extra osb thats enough.

the surfacing wax is supposed to be mixed into the polyester resin on the final coat so that it does rise up to seal the surface. theres also another curing chemical that you spray on and rinse off after a day or two. i unfortunately forgot the name of it.
 
Ill just use good ol hardie board and drylok... Comes out cheaper (40$ for a 8x2x2)
 
hardie board and dryloc scares the hell out of me,ilikewomen,please post some pics of theses hardieboard tanks,weve spoken about this before i think?its just not cricket to me......
