I don't take her out until she is ready to deliver.. then out come the babies and then i separate her from babies and feed her good for a few weeks so she gets healthy again..they go for about 21 days no food or at least very little. :grinno:
 
i have a few females, and i have enver seen eggs or fry in my 29 gallon, it's sad... do the females just give up after so many tries.... is there anyway to get them trying again?

They may be too young, you may not have enough hiding places, maybe you do not have males..maybe you think you have females but they are really males.. maybe you did not see them and they were eaten.. but no females do not give up ... if they are healthy and the water specs are right and they have plenty of hiding places they would definitly breed..
