is shrimp good for freshwater fishing?

make sure its raw. the cooked stuff just isnt the same and deveined also suck, fall off the hook too easy. good luck!

because they sell it pre cooked its not like im going to cook it then go. and i just wanted to see what i could catch with it

i've used shrimp flies with success early on in salmon runs. they have not completely forgotten about eating and are still quite silver where the shrimp work best. Still quite edible too
