Is something wrong with my FH?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I do during the summer, but with school I'm finding that I get less and less time to do anything other than feed them. I'm thinking of just filling that tank with plants in the near future so that I can do a water change every two weeks because I honestly am really short on time

dude i have skool too and still take good care of my 4 tanks

I'm just bombarded with AP work in school. Too much projects and HW

Daily schedule is get up at 5:30 feed everyone, check for disease, eat breakfast
6:30-3pm go to school
3pm-3:15 feed again
3:15-5 pass out
5-8 HW
8 Dinner/ feed again
9 Finish HW
10 bed

why do you feed so often? It take like ten minutes to change water stop being lazy, you think AP classes are a lot of work? Wait till you get to college.

I feed them 3 time a day because I'm trying to get them to grow out. And It takes over 10 mins to change the water in my 60 Gallon more like an hour because my siphon is only 1/2" and I do 50% water changes with a 2.5 gallon bucket . And I'm not going to college so I can't imagine that. Other than that I'll try to get more water change in even if its like 2% a day.

Dude i have children 5 tanks a cat 2 rabbits and 5 baby ones, 2 dogs i go to work and tech school and i work salary i sometime work for up to 14 hours. and i still find time to do weekly water changes. and you dont have to feed that often you are probably overfeeding and thats why your nitrate level is so high once a day is good and some days you can feed him twice.

out of your schedule instead of passing out, one day skip on your two hour nap and taken 40 minutes once a week to clean your tank.

My advice is not to do more water changes, it's to stop keeping fish.
Everyone here is giving you advice on when and how to take car of your fish. You obviously don't care. You dont need to be keeping fish. It's just not for some people. You're one of them.
I'm sorry if that sounds mean, but ehh..
If you're too lazy to take care of one tank with the light schedule (Yes I said light. your life isn't busy) that you have now, just drop it. Then you wont have to keep making excuses. Problem solved.
