I'm certainly no catfish doctor but he doesn't look that healthy. His fins look pretty rough and his whiskers look like they are degenerating which is usually a sign of poor water conditions. As far as age spots........... He isn't that old if he can fit into the palm of your hand. Either some other tank mates are roughing him up, or you have some water quality issues. I wouldn't be concerned with the spots as much as his fins and whiskers.

As I said I'm no fishy MD, just giving my opinion.

its my other RTC
they both keep bickering most of the time especially at feeding time and that is twice a day
and yes he is pretty small 7"+ i would say(to fit in my palm)

water changes are done nearly twice a week, 25-30%

Can you seperate them??He looks like he is getting his butt whipped!!!

If you do not separate them soon you will only have one. The one with the spots is getting messed up pretty good, what does the other one like like ???

looks like you have an issue with the larger one beating on the smaller one... the spots are prob some sort of stress related issue... Seperate them and let the smaller one heal in a non agressive tank... if you have to put something with it make sure it isn't going to try to go after this one as he's prob not far off from some sort of infection or brown blood.

Looks like the larger one is doing just great though :D except the top of the dorsal fin looks little beat up... are you sure you don't have some fin rot in that tank?
