seperate them if you can or give the small one a little extra food plus a new hideing spot also watch that pleco its about eating size and you wouldn't wan't one of your cats to try and eat it and not be able to spit it out or swallow it

looks like you have an issue with the larger one beating on the smaller one... the spots are prob some sort of stress related issue... Separate them and let the smaller one heal in a non agressive tank... if you have to put something with it make sure it isn't going to try to go after this one as he's prob not far off from some sort of infection or brown blood.

Looks like the larger one is doing just great though :D except the top of the dorsal fin looks little beat up... are you sure you don't have some fin rot in that tank?
actually they both keep fighting a lot
recently my bigger RTC had a puncture hole near his pectoral fin after a fight with the small guy
pretty sure no fin rot in the tank
how about i remove the larger RTC and keep him in a separate tank so that i don't stress the small one more

hey one more question
do RTCs color fade as they grow i mean
does their back turn greyish

No , If anything their spots/colors get brighter.

I say this all the time......... If you really want to enjoy a RTC for what it really is.........YOU HAVE TO KEEP THEM ALONE.

JMO of course.........
