Did you try starving them for a couple of days and dropping some in a few times a day?

I wasn't too sure if I should, some say do it...some say don't..I was kinda confused on what to do. I didn't wanna wake up 1 morning from them starving and find 1 torn to shreds.

I usually feed them once or twice a day....I'm thinking of trying some garlic extract on the pellets, I just read on another site RBP's go crazy for the scent of garlic....don't know how true that is though.

garlic is used in alot of fish food. i bet it's already listed as an ingredient if you check the bag.

Yeah your right, I wanna switch them over to pellets some how, like I've said before they respond to shrimp with the shells & brine shrimp...they only time they would nibble on the pellets is when I stuffed it inside of the shrimp but that was a hit & miss...The ich that they had is really clearing up which is a + now I wanna start with new stuff in their diet that's HEALTHIER for them like pellets. Besides, I'm tired of taking the leftovers out of what they don't eat lol

Getting them on pellets is harder the older they get, IMO sooner is better than later.

Starve for 2 days and try the pellets a few times a day( couple sinking pellets at a time are best).
If they dont eat them in those 2 days then feed something they'll eat but just enough to tide them over. Do the same thing for the next two days then three days, then up to 4 days. By the fourth day they should take the pellets, you're giving them food so they will take to it.

With floating pellets its usually harder because they are more cautious about coming up for them, and be sure that they are small enough for them too
