Is the Magdalena Umbriferum is really Umbriferum?

I carried on a candid discussion with Oliver Lucanus regarding umbees. Genetically they are all umbees. This has been verified. If that is what you use to determine which fish is which then throw normal taxonomy out of the window. Physical features no longer matter if they are the same genetically. No different than the color difference in white and black people. Personally I keep them identified differently to keep locations pure but they are all umbees period.

A fish cannot be compared to humans ...fishes has all sorts of colors that's what make them unique...we are not born with so many colors..so u cannot use that based on this debate..and I'm not throwing taxonomy out the window..cause when the Umbee was first described it was described as not having blue freckles on its gill plate and again I never said that it was not a Umbee..it's just a different variant but it should be named from the watershed it was found...how can one claim to be a guru when all it take is reading and researching
