hi,
here is what I found in others forum, not my writing, but I think its true
From Most active to Least active:
Group I*
P. senegalus
P. palmas polli
P. delhezi
P. retropinnis
Group II*
P. e. congicus
P. e. endlicheri
P. Zaire green
P. weeksii
P. lapradei
P. ornatipinnis
* Group I is most active during the day, but can also be active at night; Group II is active primarily at night, but also semi-active during the day. It should be noted that the diurnal/nocturnal habits of many species of bichirs can be modified a bit by when you feed them. Feeding during the day only will get the more nocturnal bichirs to come out during the day...it just takes some time.
the rope fish probably fits best in between the palmas polli and delhezi, or somewhere in that area, but this of course depends on the individual, as well as if you have them with multiple ropes. again, this will be updated with a few more species in the near future.
cheers
