a lot of the cichilds mentioned in this thread really aren't appropriate, imo, to be kept in a 20 long for life...such as firemouths, convicts, rainbow cichlids...HRP's would be really pushing it but would be better than cons since they stay smaller.
a 20 long,imo, is good for a pair of rams, appistos, tanganyikan shell dewellers but anything that will grow over 3" really is too big for a 20 long for the long term.
