Is there a Fertile King Kamfa?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Their KMLs are fertile. USA members proved that years ago with their first batch sent over here. They are not claiming; it's a fact.

You don't have to believe me.

And also it's not as simple as just a "recipe". You might hear talk of that stuff but it all started from a starting point. Then selections of which breeder to move on to next generations and so on. You must have the fish. Not a recipe.

But what the hell do I know. Just my 2

White eye kk males are pretty much not fertile. Most females will lay eggs though. When you buy a white eye male kk, your pretty much just getting a showpiece. Nothing wrong with that if you don't plan on breeding, but if you do, you better off getting a nice pearly KML or KFML with a red eye. Chances of fertility are much higher.

in most cases this is true. But not all white eyed kamfas are sterile either. We thought that till a white eyed kamfa had fry. But yeah I agree. white eyes KK pretty much dont expect to breed but as show fish most likely.

Yea that's why I said pretty much. It's just so rare for it to happen. If you buy a white eye kk, just look at it as a showpiece and if you are lucky enough to get a fertile one, all the better. I also agree with you too. Not a recipe. The right fish with the right desired traits are what they look for. Only about 5% of fry will turn out nice even from MP parents. Breeding FH is no easy task. I'm sure there are also million dollar secrets that have been practiced for years over in Thailand where we here in the states have no clue of them lol

it started somewhere. There was a recipe at first to create their FH. But you actually get the product of it.

So just buy the fish. That's what the recipe end up as. Right?

U can take the fertile ilc male- breed that to a good desired trait kml female-
Then take the offspring female from them -
x her to her grand father original ilc male then so on.

U can prolly get a good one one in the first batch because they wont be blank fish. But mother parent gotta be good.

Doesn't matter what the recipe is. U will not get blank dull fish in your breedings. You will get similar to parents and you actually select your beast. Get it?

That means you got your own recipe. Get it? U breed nice fish you get nice fish.

And what is that? Is a gene? In the flowerhorn

Only two fish can breed. There can't be one and there can't be more than 2 fish to make a batch.

So it is actually selected breeding and a forever going recipe if you wanna call it that if selected breeders are fertile. And when and animal is crossed bred to a limit, the animal becomes sterile. That recipe is done. Like the Red Monkeys. That is a recipe done. I think that's what he meant by recipe.

So question ????? If u take a fertile male cross it wit one of the vieja's off spring fertile or sterile.....

IDK

You can try 10 and hit 1 in a fertile fish. One can breed 9 times then give up and say it's not fertile. LOL

Depends on the cross that can lead to them being sterile too.

U can't say fertile or not till you try.

and Every bad azz unique top dollar individual are "Selected". Just like all other quality selected breedings for stud in Bully pits. I see U like pits. I got a picture to share. I was gonna throw away. It's my sketch of my neighbors dog :) Haha
