I just tested it. My pH is right at 7.0.About where it should be
I would eat dirt before I did that. I still have other stuff to do outside of this hobby. Some discus breeders do 90% per day to get maximum growth.
That's where it should be for most fish other than African cihclids and Rams. The "should be" was the response to his list of fish
You set the tanks up right and doing a 90% change isn't that much harder then a smaller change, as you have it all set up so you are just piping water in and out, not using buckets. Also discus grow out tanks aren't massive tanks.I would eat dirt before I did that. I still have other stuff to do outside of this hobby.
I know they aren't. One massive massive (I know there are bigger) tank is enough for me. I change out at least 80 gallons of water per day.You set the tanks up right and doing a 90% change isn't that much harder then a smaller change, as you have it all set up so you are just piping water in and out, not using buckets. doesn't sound like it with your water change schedule Lol. Making me feel bad about my weekly 30 percent changes .Nitrates never get above 20 ppm though.I would eat dirt before I did that. I still have other stuff to do outside of this hobby.
