Is There Any Hope?

She's all alone in her own tank right now. I lowered the water level so that the water surface is more disturbed by the flow from the filter. I guess I don't really want to jack the temperature up much more, because she's already breathing really hard.

The move proberly did it, sorry to hear about the loss of your fish better luck next time,if you see this happen again at least you will know next time what to do and be prepared for it.
 
Sorry for your loss. Don't let it get ya too down, look at it this way opened up some room for another fish or 2.

I didn't move her, I moved the male away. They were alone in their own tank because I was trying to breed them. Rapps sold them to me as a pair, the male came twice the size of the female... I tried to set up a partial divider, but the big male kept knocking it over.

I guess this does open up some tank space, but this male is pretty crazy. They were both wild, so they really have that killer instinct, plus they are an aggressive species in the first place.
