Only buy female crickets.

I've worked on the retail side of herps for years, that's a common request. It sucks when you have to count out 100 female crickets! (I always tossed in two males on purpose for those customers)

i go to petco (its closer) but i think im going to stat going to a herp store or lfs. i just cant take it and its only been about a month i know im lame haha

ok put them in your basement or something before you go to bed haha

Why can't you put them outside? In a small plastic bin of course.. Or if your tossing them in with the tarantula, don't. Keep the crickets in the bin outside, and feed your tarantula in the morning so it has all day to capture it and you can sleep at night.

i keep them in a spare tank i had lying around the house i cant exactly put them out side someone might steal the tank and i cant have that haha and im pretty sure 20+ crickets is to much for a tarantula to finish in one day haha
