I just read that thread for the first time, looked to me like there were quite a few that were not in favor of the video. Either way, that still does not make up the whole image of the forum...People r entitled to their own likes & dislikes ~ there r much worse videos/pics out there.

We can have our own perception of what the hobby should or should not be . But it is just that, a perception. What one group of people does with the hobby might not be considered a " real representation" by another. There are a lot of reasons, it could be cultural , the manner the fishes are kept, or even the type of fish being kept themselves.

when i see this thread, i understand why this person is so angry, but they shouldn't blame things like this on MFK.

In that thread or out of that thread it still means the same when you say it.
What I mean't by this whole thread was to find out if anyone else felt the same way as that person and thinks this place is a haven for stupid people. I always thought the opposite, and have found way more idiots which any public site will have on other forums.

i think that MFK is brings you around the world, around all different cultures.. around all different walks of life, brings you all different perspective and information you cannot obtain in books.. And age and gender does not matter..... we all seem to unite into one big ocean of fish..there's always going to be that species that you just don't understand, that just does not look right.. or does not fit in... and maybe you don't even like.. but the big pool is big enough and growing bigger all the time.. and it is always the few really good ones that make the swim worthwhile..........cichlaguapote;711553; said:
