Is there such a fish?

The only fish that resemble A. calvus are A. compressiceps. I havent really seen any with a bluish tint. Maybe it was just a reflection or irridescence in that particular picture.

tretocephalus doesn't really look at all like calvus to me. i think it either

a. was just the viewing light
or
b. new subspecies? (doubt)

Nope.
The definitive bars on a Calvus end midway down it's body. The one I saw had bars across the entire body.
It was absolutely a Calvus with that horse face they have. Man, I wish I could find that pic.
Anyway, can someone list the KNOWN subspecies of Altolamprologus calvus?
If I ever find the pic, I will post it.
