im pretty sure blues are just blacks that are usually a decent size. at least that was the case when i was searching for a black aro.

blue asians, or the "blue" that's actually a black?

all species of arowana that would be called (wrongly or not) "blue" r illegal in FL. both Osteoglossum Ferreirai and the asian specise. at least thtas what ive come to understand.

either way id of bought like 3 of um, always wanted a black arowana, ive always felt that finding one for cheap would push me too far to resist the lure of an aro any longer.......i almost went so far as to spend a whole paycheck on one i found in an LFS around me.........

those ones in the pics are for sure the Black Arowana (Osteoglossum Ferreirai)....

Pretty much, but grow slightly slower IME.

They can get as long, but have a more slender body.
