I keep looking for something in the ballpark of a dollar a gallon. Is that too low to expect? I've seen a few go for around that but maybe that's just a lucky few... I'm looking for a new tank and really would like input on pricing.

used rate is generally $1 per gallon, yes. that normally includes at least the stand, and a little more for the other used accessories

with larger tanks I don't think the 1$ per Gal is fair. The glass alone will cost more then that when you have a 180gal or larger tank. I got kind of scared because I too found a 180gal for $550 but it comes with everything. I thought OH NO they found my tank hahaha.
where do you live. Because the Bay area of CA has some great deals from time to time. There is a 240gal 8'x2'x2' in my are for $600 with stand.
