Tail and lower lip were slicing injuries. Upper lip is permanently deformed from smashing/rubbing face against tank walls. Smashing during a freak out and rubbing when shadow boxing his reflection. The other pacu has a difference response to injury and has a bulbous "nose"
For quite a while he had a chunk of tail missing that was the size and shape of his brother's mouth. It grew back. I refer to my pacu as my boys, but based on my online research, they are girls. After fourteen years, calling them my boys, I am unable to call them Leah and Donna instead of Leonardo and Adonis, so they remain my boys.
