i caught this fish in a dipnet the other day in a lake that has greens, bluegill, warmouth and green sunfish hybrids, it looks different then any of the other fry i have caught in there, is it a hybrid?

hmm its pretty small i can't tell for sure, its definitely got bluegill in it, it may just be a regular bluegill, but that mouth looks kinda big.

the more i look at it the more i think it is just a regular bluegill.

definatly not a normal gill, i have gills the same size and his mouth is like a greens

oh ok. yeah i thought its mouth looked kinda big for its size. do you have any pics of what the normal gills that size look like?

its not a green/bluegill hybrid, iam go with normal bluegill

i am 100 percent positive it is not a bluegill, it has the shape and features as a green sunfish, definatly not a pure bluegill.
