Is this a Bullhead?

This catfish was sold to me as a Bullhead at a petshop, but I recently found out that apparently Montreal stores cannot sell Bullhead catfish since apparently it's illegal. So I either gor myself a deal on contriband or this is something else. Anyone can help? I finally snapped some pics when the cat camw out of hiding today, it's about 8-9".

Hmm, looking like a Trachelyopterus galeatus but I can’t say that with 100% certainty as this isn’t my area of “expertise”.
