Is this a common carp?

You are kidding right? Well this is NOT a carp but a species of chubsucker.
 
Hey, I just found out that it is a lake chubsucker and it is actually endangered in Michigan so I found that to be very interesting. I released it right after I caught it sohe is back in the wild.
 
Thats cool, dont see many of those. If it wasnt for the lack of wiskers and the fin pattern one would think a carp for sure.
