Is this a Darter??

I have kept Tesselated Darters, and had no problem getting them on Hikari Micro-pellets. The trick was getting them down in the water column so the darters could get at them, but eventually I had a couple that would come up to the surface to feed.

I think the trick to darters is very, very, very well aerated and clean water. At least it was for the Tesselateds I had.

I just found another swamp darter in the ghost shrimp feeder tank. Guy gave it to me for 50 cents. He told me they get random fish and even aquatic insects every now and then. Says they put them in a spare room and figure out what to do with them. I told him next time he has stuff to let me look at it cause I might be interested.
