I was at my LFS today and he had a reef setup for sale.
It was a 125G tank w/ 2 built-in overflows and came with fully enclosed lower stand, 3 glass tops, 2 36" double flourescant light hoods, but no filter system.
All for $715

Is this a deal or overpriced? I've never contemplated buying a set-up this large.

By setup are you saying live rock and livestock / livesand included????

Good deal. The tank alone is over $400 WHOLESALE brand new, with full warranty. The 125g setup at the nearest place by me is almost 800 and it isn't reef ready.

I'd love to get something that large but I'm not sure the wife would be up for it. Plus I'd have to rack it up on the credit card.

O.K. I'll take back my last, Good deal (double tube is the way to go)..........I got a great deal when i bought my 125 gal but lost track of how much i put into it as all it came with was the tank and stand (wroght iron)............It adds up quick buying the rest, so a full setup (tank, stank, lights, glass tops) is the way to go!!!
