acctualy i was talking to my friends and since for my birthday im going to Chiapas witch is the grammodes native rage we're going to get acouple and bring them home :)
 
Go for it man. Would love to see the pictures when/if you do actually go.
ofcourse man, its not a matter of if im going its a matter of when so sometime this year you'll guys get pics of wild caught grammodes :) wait fish on fire dont you have a grammodes?

Yup, named him Wolverine. He's growing at a slow and steady rate as expected, lol. Just hit the 4" mark a couple of weeks ago so hopefully he'll be 5-6" within a month or two. He is very bold for a grammode of his size, he swims up to the front of the tank when I approach and if I stay too long he'll flare at me to try to chase me away, lol. My only problem with him is that it's pretty much impossible to get him to eat any pellets on a regular basis. He'll suck up tubifex and black worms like there's no tomorrow but everything else besides shrimp he pretty much ignores and his bichir tankmate eats it.

Do you have an underwater cam? Would love to see a video of grammodes and other cichlids in their natural habitat.

no man i dont have an under water cam but i know someone who dose so maybe they'll let me use it :)
