Is this a EBJD?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
100% EBJD!!!

There are different color variations, some when in breeding mode will look like a very very colorful regular JD but have a slightly different color pattern.

Thanks guys! I'm on the hunt to find him a partner. I'd like to give my buddies aunt a replacement as a thank you for a sweet freebie. She can raise up some fry and when they get big give them back to me lol

Actually, 5D Tropical is now breeding "EBJD" in Florida, but they are not the same quality as the real deal we all know. I hear they are selling them to wholsalers at about $8.00/pc versus what the real ones were selling to WHOLESALE at about $13/pc, more or less, depending. This will bring down the price, but also the quality, for as you can see, is not there. So they should run at mid $30's at retail.

ebjd

look at its tail its different to normal jds

I agree with sweetness' opinion...

I'll show u a pic of my EBJD.. its more blue than urs.. but the tail has a hint of the blue shade...

It might be a Blue Gene, not a EBJD, it has the color style to it.. I think if u breed it.. u might get the EBJD fry out of it... But Its not 100% EBJD...

Totally agree with ya. Wonder what would happen if I breed him....it is a him right? I am currently trying to find a female thats already an adult so i can find out what the fry would look like.

If u go to Petsmart... (ppl are gonna hate this) but Petsmart DOES carry big Jack Dempsey.. sometimes if ur lucky 5-6" Adult for $8.99, Just make sure they are healthy... Other LFS will over charge u on adult and i hate that.. Also, despite what people say... They do have a 2 weeks return policy, so in case it dies... but try petsmart.. sometimes during their delivery day.. they will carry odd ball big jack dempsey..
