Is this a fair deal?

i have been looking for a little bit bigger tank than my 75 48x18x21
I found what seems to be a nice looking 60x18x24 It is a acrylic saltwater tank that I would want to make freshwater. I have never had a acrylic tank. I just want a see if It's Worth 300 or should I keep looking: my wife seen it and loves the way it looks with the stand and canopy but I want a second opinion

For $300 that isn't bad, although it needs a lot of cleaning.

Looks like every other used reef tank on Craigslist, needs thorough cleaning, new plumbing/pump/filters/etc... the tank is worth that if the acrylic seams are good, you need to look closely at all the seams before you hand over cash. Be prepared for some work though, cleaning scale is not fun and then you'll probably need to polish the clear parts.

Take it. $300 for the stand and canopy alone easy. $200 lighting system with the halide and t5 combo. $300 for a used 120 acrylic, sump with all other equipment another $100-$200. He could easily part it out for $700-$1000

Well I go to it for 225$ everything seemed good it came with a lot of extras I don't know if a lot of it will work for freshwater or not . I'll post some pics of it tomorrow it's dark and on the trailer still
