I picked this up at Pet Supplies Plus for $5. I was wondering if it was a flowerhorn, and if I got a good deal? he/she is 3 inches long.

Not really though, I had been wanting something with a similar evilness to my pink con (firmly convinced he's not a hybrid as I saw pink cons today that looked so close!!). I've been thinking of Malawis, looked at the fish store where we picked up our new RBP, and didn't see any I liked.
When we went over to the pet store for crix for the tarantula, I looked at their fish, and lo and behold about 5-6 FH in their tanks!! I was super-excited, since I'd never seen one up close before (pics are as good as I'd gotten) I think this is probly the only FH I'm getting. I really want Malawis.
I did get one better pic of Freckles, and I'm waiting for it to upload so I can post it here. ^^
