is this a flowerhorn?

congrats on him/her! He is a cutie! We got our gold sev. from a pet supplies plus for pretty cheap and he was about 2-3" when we got him. Other then the occassional one cool fish, ours doesnt have anything cool.
but yeah, if he eventually develops a large KOK, then it is most likely a male.

right now we have cichlid pellets that are shared between my RBP and my pink con. I have to pick up more cichlid pellets... >.<

I want to see how it turns out as well. By what time should the kok develop, so that I know whether or not it's a male.
 
Some females have little koks also... you should pick him/her up some Alife, Grand Omega Supreme, or Chingmix or something... mine also love HBH Super Soft w/ Krill and Ken's Cichlid Pellets. Should be getting a little hump in a little while if it's 3" now...
 
I'll have to go back to the LFS again this weekend then and pick up some of those other foods. Could it have plankton as well? I have that for my GSPs and my RBP, but my con wasn't interested.

i buy most of my foods from kens too. my fish seem to love it!

nice little FH becka! i almost bought one about a month ago, but decided not too...i think that was the same day we picked up our big Frontosa.
 
Thanks, Jordan, I really like it too!! Brian's not a big fan, but he's been waiting for an excuse to try talking me into another 75!! lol

He doesn't know what he'll put in it, he just wants another big tank!! :)
