how is them being hybrids relevant to a value discussion? In actuality, the value decision is based on personal preference, but I would say that the value is actually lessened by not having access to females. I will say I have NEVER seen any peacocks at 4" priced that high. Of course that may be candian dollars and I dont know the xchange rate

This could be valuable information to someone who may not know where these fish come from. This could prevent the seller from miscommunicating that these are WC or any generation descending there from. The fact that they are hybrids aslo could lend to the ability to actually define what these fish are. There is no set name for these fish and the name generally comes from what the seller has heard them called and any variation after. With Dragon Bloods, Blood Dragons, Strawberries and Fire fish. they are all different variations of the same basic genetic crosses. IMO, it is very important to be educated on what this fish is.

Very nice Peacocks....I keep Haps/Peacocks in a 220......I would love to add one of those males, but if it were me, I'd pay about $35....Maybe 40.

If they are still available, there is a local guy near me that might ship you a couple males for $15 each plus shipping.

Ive seen lesser colored up Peacocks near me priced at like $59.99 so $75 isnt too outrageously high. Supply and demand. Id gladly pay $75 for a trio of those.
