Good call...I should look into that, although if I'm at it I might as well spring for the Sigma f/2.8 HSM macro (I think its 17-70mm). The lens comes highly recommended from Iamzrad.

The price was right for my nifty 50 though. $60 like new and I haven't looked back (to the kit lenses).

its really how well you use it, the more you know about what your camera settings and how to use it. the better your pictures would be.


They say if u shoot a dslr camera on Auto mode, its just about the same as a point and shoot camera.
