Can get a 2.5 inch black nasty for $25+$21 shipping. Is this good or no?

I bought 6 for a $1. Of course they were fry and from another club member.

For you, it depends on the avialability, quality, etc

No! They should be fairly cheap until they are either paired at 3.5-5" or past the 5" range where they are pretty much past the bloat stage. I say this because of the survival rate at smaller sizes are very low usually and it's hard to as for lots of money once people know this. After they reach 4-5" then your pretty much in the clear and I would ask a little more per inch or on pairs for those sizes just because of the dedication and possible losses it took to obtain them that size. Just my opinion:)

Whether you pay $20 or $10 for a fish that should grow a foot+ long and live for 8-10 years should be the least of your concerns, honestly.

I've had good experiences getting fish from Jeff. He's not the cheapest but he's honest about what he stocks.

All my orders are from Jeff. Not sure I wanna take the risk tho for almost $50 and all he has is the one in stock

IME, Rapps' stock/quality is always worth the extra money.

Yes but at just 2.5 inches is it worth the risk with a bloat prone fish?
