The rule of thumb is a dollar a gallon for smaller tanks (55 included). To go over that there needs to be a deal sweetener such as an advanced filtration/pump setup - no HOBs.

The true way to find out if it is a good deal or not... ...is if it is not there when you go back to see if it is still there. In other words, don't snooze on it. If you have the oportunity and are willing to part with the cash then it is a good deal for you. Don't worry what other people think.

For instance, I bought this stinking fish farm and everyone around me now thinks I have lost it. But everyone here on MFK thinks it was a great score. We understand its true potential...(and there is a bunch of cool stuff too.)

Fellas.... Im getting a little discouraged with this deal..... First he told me that he misplaced one of the bulkheads( not too bad) but now that I searched around for some prices For the filter, filter media and pump Im looking at around another 300$$. Not what i was thinking to spend. This would be my first time doing wet dry and thats alot of money i dont wanna spend. Im dont know what to doooooooooooooo
