Is This A Good Deal?

They prefer to be in shoals of 5-6 at a minimum. They also grow at about the same rate as an oak tree. That's a good price for a CL that size, and in fact I'm going to try to find some for myself now, but by the time you would grow them to 6"+ any profit would be long eaten up in food and maintenance.

i had CL for 5 or so years and my biggest was maybe 6" i had 23 of them and all were wiped out, out of all the fish i had in my tank only 3 cichlids survived.

and they were eating machines. feeding time it was a Cl swarm taking over prawns and other food.

You're more likely to only see 1-1 1/2" per year

omg thats crazy slow! I think ill try to pick up a school of them when I can afford it as im 14 I have no profit and I just spent well over $100 which I got from selling my turtles. So I have to wait and see how much I have.
