Is this a good diet for a retic?

Well I chopped it in small enough pieces but I don't think he likes it

Keep trying! Try soaking the tilapia in a little bit of water and his pellets or blood worms to get the smell on it. Tilapia will really fatten them up!

I will do it with the bloodworms tomorrow

For me it starts and ends with Hikari carnivore. Something about the types of protein this food uses is superior to all others in my experience. I feed 80% carnivore, 20% frozen foods; which consists of a mix of tilapia fillets, prawn and squid.

The way that I got my retics to switch was I starved them and then put blood worms in at the exact same time as the little pieces of shrimp and they get so aggressive for food they were will to just take anything in due to the fact that there were blood worms there. I did this feeding style for a week straight after trying and failing at many different other styles for four weeks prior and this worked like a charm.

I tried soaking the pellets in bloodworms and he eaten some of them

Ok. I will try again using the same method with the tilapia.
