Is this a good start?

Thanks for all of the kind words. I am excited about this whole thing. I plan on reading as many threads here as I can . This will definately be a daily read.

As far as a background goes I am definately getting one. Was planning on getting one of those glossy picture backgrounds. :WHOA: Something tells me those arent a big hit around here. :)

Dimensions are 48" L X 30" T X 18" W

haha yeah alot of people seem to like those. But the water makes it look extra glossy. But yeah once you start on this forum you can't stop. It is so addicting learning more about what you love to do. Good luck and keep us updated. Hope you stick around bro.

You weren't too far off. It is a 110 he says it right above. You got pretty close with your guess though haha.

I knew he said 110 gallon, but i wanted the actual size of the tank in inches/feet, my 75 gallon tank was sold to me as a 55 gallon tank, people new to the hobby dont always know 100% what they have.

I hear ya! But I think someone has already started. Just got home from work and found one of the mollies half eaten!:rip I am getting tired of them but I think I am going to keep things the way they are until I become more confident with everything. Heck, I'm still learning how and when to feed them. Pirahna are definately in the near future.

The back 2x4 in the stand, is it straight? Sure doesn't look right.

Good eyes salsa. Better than mine were while I was trying to build this stand in three nights after working all day. I didnt even realize it was crooked until I had all the sides nailed on. Hope it doesnt affect the integrity of this stand. Still seems sturdier than the store bought ones. By the way, they are 2X6's, didnt want to take any chances.
