Well if you like the deal and the fish then it's worth the trade. Personally, I love oscars but that's just me. But you might have some trouble with the texas and acara, the texas will probably make like miserable for him.

Cichla Dude don't take cave out, put more visual barriers in tank. generaly the weaker fish will need to hide in order to avoid being picked on. i possible just put Texas in another tank.

Dithers might spread the agression out some.

If seperating them is not an option, add plenty of cover/hiding spots so the Acara has somewhere to retreat to.

if you were worried about the money then just think of all the water youll save without having two oscars messing the tank up
