Is this a jack dempsey?

many red texas will turn pink white pearls and black they these color are less desirable ,i guess you they the same fish just didnt get that orange red that make a red texas but these fish are hybrid . Some say red texas and super red texas the super red is the real deal
 
I would say bingo for the two fish that I posted for responing to the red texas picture but not the fish in question.

my other texas that I got at the same time is twice the size of this fish
 
See this is till going on. How about taking a video since the pics don't turn out well. I may have said it was a Texas in the past but I now leaning toward it being a hybrid.

And yes, Texas can get red tipped dorsal.
 
Well Chris the fish is still growing and changing ,but at a slow rate.I can do that but i really dont know how is it done,is it done the same way as a picture?The problem is more with the lighting in the room ,i need a back ground the tank has alot of reflection.
