Is this a KKP?

kkp are like kamfah and midas/devil. Some of them have a waterhead that go from flat to a nice hump. It's hard to tell if the kkp will have a good hump or not. Just give it lots of tlc and see what happens.

Thanks, I hope it sprouts something. i was picking this one out hoping for a male. The smaller one I tried to pick female, but could be male because it has pointy dorsal fin.

Found these at an LFS.



There are more colorful ones at the store, I have thought about picking up maybe one more for an odd number.

I paid $40 for this one, and $17 for the smaller one. Will try for a pic tonight of the small one.

Is that an ok price?


How about the food? Anybody use this Hikari product?

I use Hikari Gold. Yes I would say thats a very good price for what fish you got.

I hope this hikari food gives them good color. It was the same price as HaiFeng.

I've used HaiFeng to feed my RTGG and Red Sev's that I've kept in the past and it gave them very nicer red colors.

I may add some flowerhorn food that my friend Chris recommended. He used to keep flowerhorns, and I remember he had one with a huuuge head.
