Looks like a CB Nigeria lap to me. Not only that. It looks blind. Who ever sold you that pulled a real fast one over u. U should have taken a photo and checked before u brought it.

Unfortunate as it is, it shouldn't turn u off any fish. Its hard to see the difference in dats too when it comes to ct, 3 bar it, st. And for pbass. Its fun to see what they become. I raise all 3 species in my tank and i love them all. Just enjoy what joy ur fishes bring to u. Dun worry abt what they are as long as u like them. That should be the golden rule.

It looks much better in these photos. The eyes look milky blue in the previous ones. Maybe cause I'm looking from my phone. Can u take a pic of its raise finlets?

Seriously this guy confuses me. It head doesn't look 100% CB in some pictures yet the cheeks lack the define pattens of a WC, it has a head closer to a Guinea lap yet lack the right finlet shape to be one. But also not quite the reversed D of a CB. To be honest I am baffled. Wish I could see this IRL to asses for myself. I take back about it being a CB Nigerian lap. I have no idea what this guy is.
