Is this a little bit small for a 4 months old?

Thanks for all your replies. Well the tail look a little strange but that just because of the photo..Here this is what his tail look like.

No partner your fish will have drop tail as it get older.I think he is a great looking over all fish and much older then 4 months too

I've never heard of a fish growing to 6" in 1 month. I know they grow fast but man. What food has that kind of protein?
