Yes to be honest. Given that mono looks over 10'', there is no color on that bad boy. Late bloomer.

its about 8" its been like that for a while. i have another mono in the back of the pics and it has wayy more color then this, but oh wells its still a great looking fish because its mines.

i think your tank is plain. needs some color in the tank. background or substrate. this happen to my mono's until i got some black sand and they gain alot of color and look how it suppose to look

yea the tank setup and lighting my monos stayed like that for a while to im stil tryin to break them of feeders

i had monos like that, change up the tank. ie, almond leaves? black water extract. also feed them better food besides feeeders. i feed my guys sliversides and i stuff massivore pellets in them so they can take in both types of food and good lighting will definitely help out the color for these guys. i hope that can help you. your TEM is going to be a BEAST i love TEMS!
